The Gamelatron Empat Bunga (Four Flowers)

Description: The Gamelatron Bunga Empat (4 Flowers) is a quadriptych comprised of 4 patinate steel "canvases" adorned with 28 Bronze Balinese gongs and 2 dragon turtle cymbal arrays retrofitted with robotic mallets. The piece was made by Aaron Taylor Kuffner in September of 2014. It is a re-imagining and repurposing of an older installation called "Bunga Kota" (The flower of the city). Each canvas is 4ft wide and 6ft tall and mounts directly to a wall. Each are equipped with an AC outlet and ethernet data port.
