Description:
Veja Yanta in Thai translates to Heaven on Earth. The Gamelatron Veja Yanta is installed in a private villa in Phuket, Thailand. This artwork is an immersive installation inside of a traditional teak Thai Sala intended for meditation. The piece consists of 32 kettle gongs, and six hanging gongs (85cm, 80cm, 60cm, 55cm, 32cm and 30cm diameter). The sculptural mounts are made from Silicon bronze with anodized aluminum, teak wood and waxed cotton robotic mallets.
